3 Mechanical Pulls (Thread, Elastic, Spring)

Here’s the deal: you want something to suddenly appear? Yank it in with brute force. We're talking invisible thread, stretched elastic, and springs loaded like a Saturday morning cartoon.

  1. Thread Pull

Fine thread pulls an object into view — fast. Assistant tugs, weight drops, whatever.

  • Example: Hanky vanishes, then yoinks into a glass.
  • Spider Web Trick: Thread movement masked by a spinning disc. Distract and deploy.
  1. Elastic Pull

Stretch it, hide it, let it rip.

  • Card Sword: Cards shoot up the blade like Vegas confetti.
  • Bonus: Flowers to lapel, flags from vests — boom, it’s showtime.
  1. Spring Lever

Old-school mechanical chaos. Press, pop, reveal.

  • Card in Balloon: Spring flings card into a balloon. Balloon says nope. Card wins.

Key: It has to be fast. Blink-and-you-miss-it fast. Anything slower and you’re just a guy with weird pockets.

--- Reel Devices

Method: Spring-loaded retractable thread for vanishes or productions.
Example:

  • Vanishing scarf flies up your sleeve via reel. The only thing faster than the flying scarf is your attempt to catch it.
