I wonder if it's possible to create a miniature Sharpie with a lid that can be inserted into a large thumb tip. Magicians typically use a felt tip dipped in ink, combined with a thumb clip writer or thumb tip attachment, to perform their tricks.
I recently came across smaller-sized coloring pens from Crayola and had an idea. If you slice the pen with a knife, seal the cut with a vinyl sticker, and make a hole in the thumb tip, the ink can be located at the front of the nail. To position the writing pad under the nail, close to the fingerprint, the tiny Sharpie or pen needs to be angled correctly. The only issue is that, after the trick is over, you'll need to remove the pen from the thumb tip and replace the cap for the next performance. Only issue because its at an angle; it's hard to take out. When the ink dries out, you can either slice another pen or replace the small portion of the ink tube.
